Kelvingrove Art Gallery set to host huge 80s themed silent disco

Glasgow’s music fans will be able to enjoy a silent disco in stunning surroundings this autumn.

The 80s Silent Disco Party is coming to the Kelvingrove Museum this October.




Running over two days (Friday, October 4 and Saturday, October 5) the event will see some of the UK’s top 80s DJs playing “your favourite decade-defining tunes” for a “feel-good experience”.

Posting about the event, the organisers said: “After our last sold out show, you don’t want to miss this! Expect some of the UK’s best DJs playing all your favourite tunes in the stunning, illuminated surroundings of Kelvingrove Museum.”

Session times for the over 18s event will run 6.30pm until 9pm and 9.30pm until 12am and see the museum illuminated “like never before”.


Not only that but fans can enjoy a fully stocked bar and no less than three channels of music.
