Hotel executive moves: The Ascott Limited, Hyatt, Trinity Investments

investment world alphabetically (by company):

The Ascott Limited adds execs.
Singapore-based The Ascott Ltd. announced six appointments in business
development, strategy and operations to support its global expansion. The new
appointments to Ascott’s business development team are Venessa Koo, vice president,
business development for Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines and Vietnam; Teo
Junrong, vice president, business development for Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia; and
Thomas Lamson, vice president, business development and product and technical services
for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). In addition, the company named
Joseph Wong, managing director for China; Steven Chan as vice president, global franchise
services and regional general manager for Indochina; Sophie Mougel as vice president,
strategy and regional general manager for the Philippines and Malaysia.

Hyatt names two EMEA executives. Hyatt
has appointed two new senior vice presidents to support the company’s growth in
the Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) region. Peter Norman, who has been
with Hyatt in the region since 2006, has been appointed as the senior vice president corporate
development and owner relations for EAME, and Felicity Black-Roberts, formerly
the vice president development for Western Europe, has been promoted to senior vice president of development for
EAME.

Main Street promotes new exec.
Stockbridge, Massachusetts-based Main Street Hospitality has promoted Scott
Williams as chief development and brand officer. Williams joined Main Street in
2021 and was previously president of marketing agency The Nantucket Project
where he led initiatives for Commune Hotels & Resorts, Morgans Hotel Group
and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Prior
to hospitality, Williams had a career
in television with creative and production stints at CBS, ESPN and HBO.

Remington names new SVP. Dallas-based
Remington Hospitality has promoted Ted Peters to senior vice president of beverage & food.
Peters has spent 16 years with Remington and was most recently vice president of B&F.
He has also worked as a chef in multiple hotels and was the vice president of culinary and
executive chef at Azurea at One Ocean Resort & Spa.

New CDO for SH Hotels.
Coconut Grove, Florida-based SH Hotels & Resorts has promoted Abhay Bakaya
to chief development officer. Bakaya has nearly 20 years of industry experience
and has worked with brands such as Fairmont-Raffles Hotels, Starwood Hotels
& Resorts and Marriott International before joining SH Hotels & Resorts
in 2017. Most recently he served as senior vice president of development.

Trinity expands team in Europe.
Honolulu-based Trinity Investments has expanded its leadership team in Europe
by naming Mai Kawashima as vice president of acquisitions, George Austin as
director of strategic operations, Elia Antonioudaki as vice president of
development, and Andrea Hendrick as vice president of finance.
