Chandigarh: Punjab chief minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday reached Nanded in Maharashtra to pay obeisance at Takht Hazur Sahib. Later in the evening, he reached Mumbai and is expected to meet industrialists and people from the film industry there on Wednesday to showcase Punjab as a investment destination.
Mann said his govt was coming up with a project to set up Film City, for which discussions with people from the film world would act as a catalyst.“I will meet prominent industrialists of Maharashtra and personalities from the film industry to offer them packages in our film city,” he said.
Speaking to media, Mann said AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal had been falsely implicated by the BJP in the Delhi excise policy scam. He claimed that there was no evidence against Kejriwal, and he would come out of jail soon. “It was a conspiracy to break the party, but they failed to do so,” he said.
Meanwhile, Mann offered prayers at Gurdwara sahib and reiterated the firm commitment of his government to serve the people of the state regardless of caste, colour, creed and religion to create a harmonious society. Takhat Sachkhand Hazur Sahib in Nanded is one of the five Sikh takhts.
