A collection of works by area artists will begin the 2023-2024 exhibition schedule in the Dorris Rider Art Gallery at North Central Missouri College in Trenton. “Local Artists Showcase 16” will open on Friday, September 6, and run through Friday, October 11.

Artists are invited to submit up to two original pieces that have not been previously displayed in the Rider Gallery. All media are acceptable, though some works may not be accepted due to size constraints or content. Submissions can be delivered to the gallery on Thursday, August 29, and Friday, August 30, between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day, or by appointment before those dates.

“This is always a fun show,” said Gallery Director Jim Norris. “We have so many talented people around us creating very nice art. This show is a chance to recognize some wonderful local artists and their creations.”

For more information, please contact Norris at 357-6345 (office), 660-635-2189 (cell), or by email at [email protected].

The Rider Art Gallery’s regular hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with selected weekend and evening hours available by appointment.
