August 28, 2024 – Mayer Brown counsel Francis Joyner and associates Daniel Blackburn and Saima Mehmood were named “Rising Stars” by the Fund Finance Association (FFA). This recognition is given to “outstanding industry professionals with less than 10 years of experience who have made remarkable contributions to the Fund Finance industry” and “are the ones who will drive the industry forward in the coming years.”
Francis represents lenders in negotiating and documenting subscription credit facilities to private equity and real estate funds. He has also represented lenders and borrowers in large-cap and middle market financings and restructurings.
Daniel advises clients on fund finance and securitization transactions. He regularly represents US & foreign commercial banks and private equity funds in connection with the structuring and negotiation of subscription credit facilities, NAV credit facilities, and private equity fund formation documents.
Saima’s practice centers on fund finance and representing lenders in negotiating and documenting subscription credit facilities, employee loan programs, and NAV and hybrid facilities with private equity and real estate funds.
