Nuveen, one of the world’s largest asset managers, plans to invest in renewables and storage projects in Australia to grow its geographical footprint in a sector where it is already a big player in Europe and the US.
Biff Ourso, global head of infrastructure at the firm, which manages $US1.3 trillion ($2 trillion) in public and private assets around the world, said Nuveen expected to make the investments over the next two to three years.
