Supply Chain Finance Awards 2026: Global Winners

February 23, 20265 Mins Read

The 2026 Supply Chain Finance Awards highlight industry leaders reshaping global supply chains through advanced technologies like AI, blockchain, and dynamic discounting.

From DBS Bank’s AI-driven SCF solutions to PrimeRevenue’s expansive payments platform, this year’s Global Winners are setting new standards for efficiency, liquidity, and sustainability across supply chains.

Best Supply Chain Finance Provider—Bank

DBS Bank

DBS is redefining supply chain finance (SCF) by moving beyond individual loans to an integrated, AI-driven data network, a synergy achieved by combining hyper-automation with sustainable ecosystems. DBS has been pioneering AI in SCF: Instead of simple chatbots, the bank uses agentic AI systems capable of independent reasoning and executing complex, multi-step tasks. This enables the AI to check trade documents for compliance and fraud with minimal human intervention. Furthermore, DBS leverages AI to analyze deep-tier supplier behavior, predicting an SME’s cash needs—even those three or four levels down the supply chain—before an application is submitted.

As Global Finance’s World’s Best Bank for Sustainable Finance in 2025, DBS has developed customized SCF models tailored to fragmented green sectors. A notable example is its partnership with Reliance Industries to create a financing ecosystem for small farmers and vendors, facilitating the aggregation of agricultural waste for biogas production.

Using blockchain and smart contracts, DBS can “transfer” the creditworthiness of a large anchor buyer (such as Apple or Nike) throughout the network. This ensures that liquidity effectively reaches the smallest component manufacturers and the furthest corners of the global supply chain.

Best Supply Chain Finance Provider—Non-Bank

PrimeRevenue

PrimeRevenue offers a comprehensive business-to-business payments platform that optimizes cash flow, streamlines operations, and enhances liquidity management. The platform facilitates over $300 billion in commerce annually and supports 59,000 suppliers across 102 countries, backed by a robust network of more than 105 funding partners. The platform processes approximately 18 million invoices annually, achieving a 99.7% payment success rate, reinforcing PrimeRevenue’s reputation as a trusted and efficient payments partner for businesses worldwide.

Recent innovations include integrating Plaid Identity Verification in partnership with Plaid, a leading financial data network, to enhance supplier authentication and prevent fraud. This technology uses biometric and document checks, real-time fraud detection, and risk analysis, enabling suppliers to verify their identity across more than 200 countries in as little as 30 seconds.

Best Deep-Tier Supply Chain Finance (DTSCF) Solution

Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered is one of the few banks actively pushing for deep-tier financing. The bank’s program aims to pass financing down the chain, ensuring that the small farmer or raw-material extractor at the very bottom also receives the financial incentive to be sustainable. One of the biggest barriers to smaller entities accessing sustainability-linked pricing is a lack of independent ESG ratings. Sofia Hammoucha, the bank’s global head of Trade and Working Capital, suggests that agentic AI models could augment or automate bankwide processes, including know-your-customer and customer due diligence requirements. “The industry is still in the early stages of adoption, and we are exploring and testing various options to bolster our offering,” Hammoucha states.

Best Customer Implementation

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB)

First Abu Dhabi Bank successfully implemented a supply chain finance solution for a major automobile distributor in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. The solution covers the import of automobiles, accessories, and spare parts. Sellers are primarily large, global manufacturers of vehicles and tires. The entire process is fully automated using FAB’s advanced SCF front-end system. This innovative arrangement involves FAB, the client (buyer/importer), and the vehicle/spare parts exporters. It enables the buyer/importer’s suppliers to sell their trade receivables to FAB for immediate liquidity.

Best Dynamic Discounting Solution

Citi

Citi’s platform enables treasurers to seamlessly switch between dynamic discounting (buyer-funded) and SCF (bank-funded). A unique feature is Citi’s embedded foreign exchange capability, which allows clients to make early payments in US dollars while the supplier receives the funds in the local currency. This removes the FX friction that typically hinders the adoption of dynamic discounting in emerging markets.

Best Reverse Factoring System

Orbian

Orbian’s universal funding structure aggregates liquidity from multiple global banks, providing unlimited funding capacity and mitigating the risk of dependence on a single bank. The company’s reverse factoring system includes three main solutions: First, traditional SCF involves the buyer approving an invoice, Orbian paying the supplier early (e.g., on the fifth day), and the buyer repaying Orbian on the maturity date (e.g., the sixtieth day), thereby accelerating the supplier’s cash flow while preserving the buyer’s days payable outstanding (DPO). Second, Orbian’s Payment with Terms (PwT) prioritizes the buyer’s working capital. Orbian pays the supplier on the original due date (e.g., the 60th day), and the buyer repays Orbian later (e.g., on day 90 or 120), effectively extending the buyer’s DPO without delaying payment to the supplier. The third solution, Orbian’s Flex Pay, is a hybrid that allows treasury teams to seamlessly switch between early supplier payment and DPO extension (PwT) within the same program.

Best Sustainable Supply Chain Finance Program

Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered leads in financing “dirty” industries, like cement and mining, to boost environmental performance in Asia and Africa. The bank uses a rigid, ICC-aligned “Green Product Framework”, tools like EcoVadis and fair labor audits. Its market dominance is built on deep-tier supply chain visibility, AI-driven social impact, and aggressive sustainability-linked pricing.
