Peter Branner has a unique take on his position within the £495bn asset management group.
“I’m the guy in the machine room,” Branner says of his role as chief investment officer — a job title resurrected at the Edinburgh-headquartered company last year after previous incumbent, Rod Paris, departed at the end of 2021.
