Opening reception for Muscat’s “Are We There Yet?” at Bancroft Art Gallery this Friday

April 4, 20241 Min Read

This Friday April 5th, 2024 is the Bancroft Art Gallery’s opening reception of Joseph Muscat’s  Yet, There We Are!  starting at 7:30pm. The AGB says they are thrilled to be showing such a dynamic body of work that explores the Covid-19 pandemic-era through art.

They say the evening will be surrounded by art, light bites and wine, and a chance to speak with and hear from the artist.

About Joseph Muscat: He graduated from the Ontario College of Art in 1981, and since then has exhibited his work extensively in solo and in group exhibitions in Canada, USA, Europe and South America. His work is widely collected in many Public, Corporate and Private collections. He has received numerous Ontario Arts Council grants, and his work has been included in art textbooks and reproduced on book and magazine covers. He has lectured at the University of Toronto’s Faculty of Architecture and has taught Visual Arts part-time with the Toronto District School Board.

The exhibition will run until April 27 and the Gallery is now switching to summer hours:, opening Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-4pm.
