1. Smack Mellon

Located at 92 Plymouth St, Brooklyn, NY 11201, Smack Mellon is a haven for emerging, under-recognized mid-career artists, and brings their works to the public through exhibitions and studio programs. This gallery 

2. Trestle Gallery

Located on 62 18th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11232 offers artists studio and gallery space to create and showcase their art to visitors and collectors through exhibitions in individually curated spaces. Trestle Gallery offers private, semi-private and public studios for artists.

3. Transmitter

Located at 1329 Willoughby Ave, Transmitter is a collaborative gallery space showcasing contemporary art, often featuring experimental and thought-provoking works. 4. The Invisible Dog Art Center

Located at 51 Bergen St, Brooklyn, The Invisible Dog Art Center, located in the three-story gallery is housed in a former factory building, this multidisciplinary arts center hosts exhibitions, performances, and events that blur the lines between art and everyday life. The ground floor is for public performances, and exhibitions showcasing artworks by artists from all around the world. In the second and third floors are divided into studios for over 30 artists who create artworks in different genres. 

5. FiveMyles

FiveMyles is a contemporary art gallery and community space located in Crown Heights, features exhibitions, performances, and workshops that engage with social and political issues, promoting dialogue and cultural exchange. The gallery is located at 558 St Johns Pl, Brooklyn. 

6. Ortega y Gasset Projects

Ortega y Gasset Projects, a non-profit artist-run curatorial collective and exhibition space in Gowanus is located at 363 3rd Ave. The space focuses on creating dialogue and collaboration within the contemporary art community through exhibitions, events, and publications. Their upcoming exhibition Group Exhibition: Painting Reconstructed by Leeza Meksin starts from May until August. The Gallery opens between Friday and Sunday. 

8.Tiger Strikes Asteroid

The Brooklyn branch of Tiger Strikes Asteroid is part of a larger network that originated in Philadelphia and has since expanded to other cities across the United States.
