PENTICTON — The Penticton Art Gallery held its annual meeting and elections Wednesday at the gallery.

Dr. Claude Roberto, Katie Bowling and Ann Doyon were all re-elected by acclamation. Jesse Doucette, Cindi Lou Baker, Kona Lynn Sankey and Nancy Schmidt are all returning directors. Newcomers to the board are Katherine Eriksen and Pat Johnson.

Heena Nagar, Ret Tinning and Margaret Gobie are all retiring members of the board.

In other business, Ron Marsh, Dan McCune and Kristine Lee were all presented with honourary life memberships while Toni Cattani received a second honourary life membership.

Future fundraising events at the gallery include a 50/50 draw which was launched earlier this week. Tickets are available online form now through June 22. For details or to purchase tickets visit: pentictonartgallery.com.

The 46th annual Art Auction will be held at the gallery on Saturday, June 22 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are now on sale at the gallery for $45 (non-members) and $35 (members). Last year’s auction — by far the gallery’s most successful fundraiser of the year — was cancelled due to wildfire and the Highway 97 road closure.
