(Beaver Dam) Beaver Dam’s Art on the Town Wisconsin is hosting its first Kids Art Gallery Night this week.
The event is dedicated to showcasing the creative works of local young artists and aims to provide them with an opportunity to take pride in their work, share their creative journey, and receive recognition. Those aged four to 17 who made art at Art on the Town over the summer will be able to showcase their work.
Owner Kris Schumacher-Rasmussen say they are beyond excited to provide a space where their young artists can see their hard work displayed in a professional setting. In addition to the gallery display, the evening will feature various hands-on art stations where visitors can create their own mini works-of-art for $10.
Complimentary popcorn, lemonade, coffee, and tea will also be available. The event is taking place Thursday, August 15th from 5pm to 7pm at Art on the Town’s studio located at 127 Front Street in Beaver Dam.
If your child or teen created artwork at Art on the Town Wisconsin this summer and would like their pieces to be included in the gallery, contact thestudioaottwi@gmail.com to arrange a drop-off.
