Brighton Museum and Art Gallery has launched a two-for-one entry deal from Tuesday 13 to Friday, January 30, inviting visitors to enjoy a day out filled with art, history and inspiration.
The offer gives two adults entry for the price of one, either in-person or online using the code BEATTHEBLUES.
Hedley Swain, CEO of Brighton and Hove Museums, said: “January can feel grey and long, but the museum is full of colour, stories and surprises waiting to be discovered.
“Research shows that engaging with culture can lift your mood, spark curiosity and bring people together. Our 2-for-1 offer is a chance for visitors to explore something new, enjoy time with a friend, and bring a little brightness to the winter months.”
The promotion encourages visitors to explore the museum’s galleries, which include collections ranging from archaeology and ancient Egypt to fine art and photography.
There is also a strong focus on themes of identity and community, with exhibits like Fashion and Style, which explores clothing and textiles through a cultural lens, and Queer the Pier, which celebrates the city’s LGBTQIA+ history.

The Central Gallery has recently opened with a new exhibition, Passion, Power and Protest.
This sits alongside World Stories, a space that highlights global traditions through the voices of young people, offering fresh perspectives on international culture.
These are the final weeks to visit the museum’s Performance Gallery, which features a vibrant collection of masks, puppets and costumes.
The gallery will close soon for redevelopment to make way for the new Brighton and Hove Albion Gallery, set to open in summer 2026.
The two-for-one offer aims to provide an affordable, uplifting day out during January, which is often considered a difficult month for many.
Visitors can purchase discounted admission on arrival or online using the promo code BEATTHEBLUES.
As the city centre brightens with colour and creativity, the museum hopes to give residents and visitors an accessible way to explore its collections and start the year with inspiration.
