Dallas’ Power Station gallery offers patrons a jolt with Arts Month double show

March 31, 20242 Mins Read

The unofficial kickoff for Dallas Arts Month each year happens inside a 1920s industrial building — a former Dallas Power and Light substation — in Exposition Park. Madrid-born artist Miguel Sbastida adds to the cacophony of creativity with his sound-based works in “Future Reefs,” presented by Picnic Curatorial Projects in the Garden Annex at the Power Station. The project is born of his research into oceanic restoration that compels us to consider the fragile beauty of our planet’s coral reefs.
