Egremont gallery announces featured artist for July

June 29, 20242 Mins Read

Clare Parker is the featured artist at the Egremont gallery this coming month.

The gallery explained: “Clare’s work is inspired by all the beauty that surrounds her and by a love for exploration often preferring, to use her own words: ‘the road less travelled’ which has provided her with some interesting moments.

“With a style that can be described by the phrase ‘Less is More’, the exhibition includes original works from her latest adventures including trips as an artist in residence on cruise liners, together with a selection of mounted prints and hand-painted watercolour cards.

“She aims to share her passion for art and gratitude for life through creating and teaching ‘– one piece at a time.’

“When she is not painting on location, Clare can be found in her studio based in Low Mill, West Cumbria.”

The feature wall is on view from now until Saturday, July 27. This is Clare’s first time as a featured artist and she invites you to join her for ‘Meet the Artist’ in Lowes Court on Saturday morning July 13, (10.30-13.00).

There will be a 10% discount off all sales on the day, and Clare will be allowing visitors to create a postcard for Lowes Court’s August Open Competition – further details on the competition are available from the gallery or via the gallery’s Facebook page.
