An exhibition of 130 black-and-white photos by German photographer Helga Paris will go on display at the Sofia Art Gallery between September 19 and November 24, the organizers of the event said.
Curator Inka Schube will attend the event’s opening ceremony, and will give a tour of the exhibition on September 20.
The work of Helga Paris (1938-2024) plays an important role in German photography. Her artworks represent East German daily life between the late 1960s and the 1990s, the organizers said.
The exhibition of the Institute of Foreign Affairs is organized with the support of the Goethe-Institut.
