Until May 26, 2024, the Galerie Clémentine de la Féronnière, nestled on theÎle Saint-Louis, hosts a free exhibition retracing 25 years of fashion photography by Martin Parr. Suspended from the walls of the gallery is a selection of photographs, both commissioned and from the artist’s personal projects, highlighting his unmistakably realistic, provocative and supra-colorful style!
Since the 1980s, Martin Parr has been attracting the attention of fashion magazines with his unique approach to advertising photography, shaking up codes and capturing the very essence of life, unfiltered and with a kitsch-ironic aesthetic. From bustling city streets to backstage at haute couture shows, Parr reminds us that true beauty lies in the authenticity of every moment.
