CLAYTON, CA (April 11, 2024) – JOR Fine Art Gallery, Clayton, is proud to announce ‘Tribute to Tina” as the theme of its upcoming exhibit running April 20 to July 21, 2024.
In homage to Tina Turner, one of the all-time favorite icons of rock and roll, several of the artists represented by the JOR Gallery have created Tina-themed artworks specifically for this show.
Guest artist Francine Garcia has created a full size paper mache representation named ‘Tina TurnHer’, as the exhibit is on a moving turntable. Local artist, Fiona M. Hughes has created ‘Legs’, two tribute paintings to honor her favorite music icon.
Featured on the guest wall for this upcoming exhibit is artwork by local favorite, John Nakanishi.
April 20 Reception
The Tina Turner inspired art exhibit kicks off with a public Reception event on Saturday, April 20th, 4-6pm via registration at https://jorfineartgallery.com/tina-turner/
Powerhouse singer, Ajuana Black will perform the music of Tina Turner during the reception.
