Held at the Williamson Art Gallery & Museum on Slatey Road, Birkenhead on Saturday and Sunday, November 16 and 17, it first took place in 2004, when a group of talented local artists saw the opportunity to form a collective and promote their work.
This year, 24 talented artists and makers – including eight exciting guest artists – will once again transform the venue into what is described by its organisers as ‘a lively gallery filled with painting, printmaking, ceramics, glass, textiles, jewellery, mixed-media and more’.

A spokesperson for the event added: “It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet the artists, explore their work, and perhaps find that special piece to take home.
“With the festive season just around the corner, OAF (Oxton Art Fair) is also the perfect place to discover thoughtful, handcrafted Christmas gifts – unique, creative, and all made with love.
