Fans of the Talk Art podcast can join the hosts for an intimate evening by the coast.
Actor Russell Tovey and gallerist Robert Diament, who share their thoughts on the world of art in their weekly podcast, will be at Margate’s Turner Contemporary to celebrate their new book, Art School (in a Book).

The pair will be joined by illustrator Rose Blake, whose colourful work has been exhibited globally, for an interactive workshop designed to help visitors tap into their own creativity.
The event will see the hosts discuss contemporary art through the eyes of leading artists and share some insights from the book.
Art School (in a Book) follows the success of the podcast, which features regular interviews with artists, curators, gallerists, journalists, actors and musicians.
The show has already inspired two books, Talk Art and Talk Art: The Interviews, which aim to make art accessible to everyone.

The new publication will introduce young people to influential artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Frida Kahlo and Tracey Emin while encouraging readers to explore the creative process and experiment with art themselves.
Russell, known for roles in Being Human, Gavin and Stacey, and The History Boys, has been a long-time art collector.
Robert moved to Margate in 2019 after becoming Gallery and Counter Editions Director at the Carl Freedman Gallery.
The pair will be at the Turner Contemporary in Margate, along with the book’s illustrator Rose Blake, on Sunday, October 26.
The book will be available to purchase on the day and the authors will be available to sign copies.
