Texas Treasures has been in downtown Boerne for 16 years, formerly located at 265 N. Main St.

The store features pieces focused around Texas and other southwestern art, with pieces from more than 30 artists available in the gallery.
“Over half of the artists are local Texas artists who have a national following,” Rosa said. “These are artists that have a lot of accolades.”
One notable artist in the gallery is Jack Terry, who has pieces in the White House and the Texas Capitol.
Rosa acquires pieces for the gallery through personal relationships with the artists, he said.
Alongside these artists, Rosa said the gallery represents around three guest artists to help blend young artists and master artists.
What else?
Rosa said starting on weekends in March, Erik Christianson–who sculpted “Wild Bill” Hickok on Boerne’s Main Street–will be at the art gallery making sculptures.
The art gallery is one of four projects Rosa is working on downtown, with plans to open a framing shop by Feb. 20. The framing shop will be located in Old Town, in the building formerly housing Cutie Patootie.
“We are here to provide that service of preserving your family heirlooms or preserving art,” Rosa said.
Guests can also get art appraised at the gallery, where Rosa can help give direction on the value of an art piece.
Rosa said his primary goal with bringing art to Boerne is to encourage more locally owned businesses and events in the downtown area.
“It is a heartfelt movement that is to give back to the community and beautify our downtown,” he said.
On April 11 and 12, an anniversary show is planned, featuring the artists who have pieces in the gallery.
