This 3,000 square-metre art gallery is turning into a live music venue for two nights only

The Lume’s Da Vinci Remixed will be a limited series of electrifying Thursday night live music events. These events kick off on Thursday 4 July and Thursday 11 July 2024.

These special events celebrate the current best-selling exhibition program Leonardo Da Vinci – 500 Years of Genius. For two nights only, renowned DJs will remix Italian operatic scores, breathing new life into the iconic figures and tales of the Renaissance across The Lume’s expansive 3,000 sqm gallery space. It’s Da Vinci, done differently.

Guests will immerse themselves in a reimagined journey through Da Vinci’s masterpieces, with classical art meeting modern beats. As the gallery transforms into a vibrant after-hours destination, attendees will also be able to enjoy a curated selection of Italian-inspired food and beverages, including Sofi Spritz cocktails, Pidapipo gelato, and antipasto platters. This unique fusion of art, music, and gourmet delights is not to be missed.

The Lume Melbourne is an immersive digital art gallery that revolutionises the traditional gallery experience by surrounding visitors with vibrant light, colour, sound, and aroma. Spanning over 3,000 sqm, The Lume offers a unique and unforgettable journey through the world’s greatest masterpieces.

Tanzer – 11 July 2024

Tanzer, originally from rural New South Wales and raised in Rome, delivers a unique blend of culture-clash disco and high-glamour escapism. A multidisciplinary artist, Tanzer’s performances explore themes of self-image, gender, romance, and the power of the alter ego.
