Italian Festival at The Mount / Oct. 11-14, times vary

Join Catholic Charities of Staten Island for the Italian Festival at The Mount from Oct. 11 – 14. Enjoy rides, games, live music, beer and sangria gardens, vendors and delicious food. Don’t miss the fireworks display on Saturday. Onsite parking is available for $5 per vehicle.

Friday: 6-11 p.m. / Saturday: noon-11 p.m. / Sunday: noon-9 p.m. / Monday: noon to 6 p.m.

Admission cost: $5 / Free for children 10 & under

Art from the Heart: An exhibition of vintage artwork / Oct. 11, 10 a.m.–3 p.m.

Art From the Heart, organized by the Tottenville Historical Society at the historic H.H. Biddle House, features a stunning collection of vintage paintings. Highlighting buildings and scenes from Staten Island’s southern end, this artwork dates from the late 1940s to the late 1990s — taking you on a nostalgic trip down memory lane!

Admission cost: Free

Spooky Snug Harbor Séance / Oct. 11 & 12, 10:30–11:15 p.m.

Explore some of the tools used to contact spirits of other dimensions, and see what you discover on the Spooky Snug Harbor Séance! Guided by Michael Pelczar, founder of Spooky Staten Island, you’ll explore the emergence of the Ouija board as an occult tool to a pop phenomenon. See what you can conjure at one of Staten Island’s spookiest locations! Get your tickets here.

Admission cost: $15

Location: Meet at Visitor Info Booth at Chapel Road and Gazebo Road at Snug Harbor

Introductory Trail Running / Oct. 12, 9-11 a.m.

Join an introductory 3-mile run, complete with short 15-minute walks for warm-up and cool-down. This event is perfect for anyone looking to learn how to stay healthy and safe while running on trails in the Greenbelt. Register here.

Admission cost: Free

Location: Greenbelt Nature Center in Blood Root Valley

Awaken to Inner Peace: Walk, Breathe, and Meditate in Nature / Oct. 13, 2-4 p.m.

Join a rejuvenating fall journey at Staten Island’s Conference House Park. This gathering led by Alana Light invites you to slow down and explore the healing power of inner peace through a mindful nature walk, guided breathing and meditation, and an interactive Q&A to share insights on cultivating tranquility in daily life.

Admission cost: $23.18
