Man arrested and $410,000 in Cryptocurrency frozen after Garda raid in Doughiska

A man was arrested and $410,000 worth of Cyptocurrency was frozen following a Garda raid on a house in Doughiska.

The raid was conducted earlier today as part of ongoing investigations into organised criminal activity in the Galway.

Two cryptocurrency accounts containing $410,000 have been frozen, along with an account at a local bank holding over €20,000.

A man in his 20s was arrested and is currently being detained under section 50 of the criminal justice act.

The investigation is currently ongoing.
