Azets Ireland has appointed David Lucas as its new head of corporate finance. He has been a partner with the firm for the last four years.

Azets is a business advisory and accounting firm headquartered in London. The company has since grown to more than 165 offices globally, with some 7,000 staff working with 120,000 clients. Only established in 2016, the companyโs rapid growth in its first eight years has been backed by UK private equity investor Hg โ a specialist investor in European and transatlantic software and services businesses.
In his new role with the professional services firm, Lucas will focus on driving the continued expansion of the corporate finance department, adapting to the momentum of change in the corporate finance world and the continuous challenges and opportunities this presents.

Lucas brings over 20 years of experience in the finance sector to the role, working both in banks. He has also accrued significant experience in leading professional services firms, and with over 12 years in corporate finance, he has a wealth of deal knowhow. This included 2 years as a senior manager with Deloitte, and three years as a director at Mazars before joining Azets in Dublin.
