SVP, Customer Experience and Operations Finance
Jose Martinez is a Senior Vice President of Customer Experience and Operations Finance at Cisco. In this role, Jose partners with the Chief Customer Experience (CX) Officer and Executive Vice President of Operations to deliver profitable growth, manage business performance, enable new business models, and deliver exceptional experiences to customers, partners, and employees while driving efficiencies across these organizations.
Since joining Cisco in 2006, Jose has successfully led teams in Sales Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Global Partner Finance, and multiple roles on the Customer Experience Finance team. Jose was instrumental in driving Cisco’s renewals transformation – establishing the Renewals Finance team, as well as compensation models, metrics, financial processes, and plans for the Renewals organization.
Prior to Cisco, Jose held various finance roles at Hitachi Global Storage Technologies and IBM. Before entering the corporate world, Jose spent time at Morgan Stanley as a fully licensed Financial Advisor.
Jose holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with dual concentration in Finance and Management from San Jose State University. Jose is passionate about diversity and serves as leader for Cisco’s Finance Latino Mentor Circle an important diversity initiative.
