Wbg consolidates brand and expands office network following N4 investment

Scottish financial firm Wbg, backed by N4 Partners, has consolidated its brand and expanded its office network across five main locations with plans for further growth.

Following N4 Partners’ recent seven figure investment to become the majority shareholder of Opulus Financial, the business has opened a new office network and the companies within the group structure have been rebranded under the new single identity of Wbg.

After a series of acquisitions in 2022, Wbg now employs 170 staff and expects to increase headcount by 15% in the coming months.

The new office network sees the business now operate across five main locations – Ayrshire, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Lanarkshire and Manchester – with a further two new locations planned for the coming months.

Allan Dowie, interim CEO, said: “From a standing start in 2022, Wbg has undertaken six acquisitions, employs 170 staff, and it will see a further headcount increase of 15% across the business over the next few months.

“We see enormous potential, based on the current platform and management team, to grow organically and expand the business further with a number of exciting acquisitions on the horizon.”
