Brush Hour invites women and girls to attend a beautiful art exhibition this Sunday, May 19, open 2-4 PM.
The 2nd annual Art Gallery will showcase artwork created by Brush Hour participants and leaders from Beis Rivkah, Bnos Menachem, and Beis Chaya Mushka. Twenty spotlight artists have created unique pieces commissioned exclusively for this display- we look forward to greeting you!
This year’s gallery theme, “WE FIGHT WITH LIGHT,” is inspired by the Rebbe’s guidance to combat darkness with light during challenging times.
Admission is free of charge and includes family-friendly activities for teens and girls of all ages. An exciting airbrush station to customize Brush Hour merch, photo booth, candle making, concession stands, pizza, and more!
Brush Hour is an organization that pairs Lubavitch girls from participating high schools with local CTeen girls. By partnering with Shluchim each Brush Hour branch creates meaningful events to bring the beauty of Mivtza Neshek to the local community. Through art, the girls learn about the impact of lighting Shabbos candles and are encouraged to share their pride in Yiddishkeit with others around them.
Brush Hour’s most recent initiative, ‘Torah Buddies’, works hand in hand with CTeen International to provide Lubavitch High School girls the opportunity to set up a Chavrusa with the CTeen girls they meet.
In empowering high school girls to inspire CTeen girls their own age, Brush Hour facilitates lasting connections and a powerful sense of purpose among all who participate.
Come see what it’s all about, and enjoy breathtaking art displays along with fun for the entire family!
