Who are we?

Art Fund is the national fundraising charity for art. With over 135,000 members, we are leading the way in pioneering support for an inclusive and welcoming museum and gallery sector across the UK.

We work closely with a network of 900 museums, galleries and historic places and respond to their needs and aspirations. With the support of our members, patrons, and donors we help to enrich museum collections, build audiences, and advocate for museums’ essential role and value.

The role

This is a unique opportunity to join Art Fund at a key moment in our 5-year strategy. We are working to increase our membership and impact to help museums and people across the UK share in great art and culture.  We are looking for an inspirational, collaborative, and innovative leader who can think, plan and write strategically.   Leading a talented marketing, communications and digital team to turn ambitious strategy into high achieving practical outcomes; you will deliver the next step change in our brand evolution, membership and income growth.

You will have outstanding interpersonal, influencing and communications skills, with strong commercial acumen and a commitment to Art Fund’s values and strategy.

You may or may not have direct experience in the arts and heritage sector but will be adept at building strong, mutually beneficial stakeholder relationships and be driven by innovation, opportunity and data insights.
