Foodies have chance to whip up edible artwork on pop tart canvases

October 10, 20242 Mins Read

Visitors to The Kellogg’s Pop (T)Art Gallery Experience will get the chance to enjoy the colourful pop art collection in London this October before creating their own artwork on the famous pastries.

A must visit for foodies and art lovers alike, guests will see the playful spirit of Pop Tarts come to life through dynamic, pop art-inspired creations.

Providing a feast for the eyes is world-renowned food artist Nathan Wyburn, known for his recreations of famous figures and artworks.

Alongside Nathan’s creations are pieces from Luke McConkey – a Liverpool-based artist and graphic designer with a unique pop art style that focuses on bright colour, bold lines, and fun characters.

The experience will be open to the public on October 25th and 26th October 2024, and will even give culture vultures the opportunity to munch on four flavours of Pop Tarts – tantalising all the senses.

The gallery is a celebration of Pop Tarts’ namesake. When first launched in the mid-1960s, Pop Tarts were known as Fruit Scones.

Inspired by the incredibly popular pop art movement of the time, which embodied an ethos of colour, vibrancy and playfulness, the sweet snack was renamed to Pop Tarts.

Visitors to the pop-up gallery will not only have the chance to enjoy the colourful collection of
