Palm Beach gallery to showcase works from New York-based artist Nir Hod

April 5, 20241 Min Read

A new art exhibition at Gavlak Palm Beach showcases a series of works by Israeli-born, New York-based artist Nir Hod.

“I Don’t Want to Forget You,” a selling exhibition that opened March 30 and runs through May 31, showcases a selection of Hod’s signature chrome paintings.

In the exhibition, Hod “carefully examines personal and collective memory as it relates to identity, sexuality, religion, and culture at large,” the gallery said in a statement.

The exhibition features nine paintings and one sculpture, with prices ranging from $25,000 to $110,000.

Gavlak, with locations in Palm Beach and Los Angeles, was founded in 2005 by Sarah Gavlak. The gallery currently represents 20 national and international artists, according to its website, and maintains a focus on women, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists.

Gavlak Palm Beach, at 340 Royal Poinciana Way in the Royal Poinciana Plaza, is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free.

For more information, visit gavlakgallery.com or call 561-833-0583.
