The vibrant creativity of local students is on full display at the new Pop-Up Art Show, named Quintesse, a unique event celebrating the artistic achievements of young talents from Wrexham University arts degree courses.
The gallery, located opposite River Island on Eagles Meadow, saw a private opening by Wrexham AFC’s Executive Chairman Humphrey Ker, providing him “an exclusive opportunity to experience the future of art firsthand”.
Featuring a diverse array of artworks including paintings, sculptures, digital media, and mixed-media installations, the Pop-Up Art Gallery is set to transform the Eagles Meadow unit into a dynamic space of inspiration and innovation. The exhibited pieces, created by students from Wrexham University reflect a broad spectrum of themes and techniques, highlighting the exceptional skill and imagination of the artists.
“As the principal lecturer at Wrexham School of Art, I am immensely proud of our students and their extraordinary achievements showcased in the Quintesse – Degree show. This exhibition not only highlights the remarkable talent and creativity of our artists but also demonstrates their dedication and hard work over the years. Opening times – 10am -4pm Monday – Saturday until June 8, 2024.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the artists and discuss their work, providing a platform for young creators to engage with the public and receive valuable feedback.
