A Christmas fair is set to return to the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum.
The Christmas Makers’ Fair will take place on Friday, December 5, and Saturday, December 6.
It will be held alongside Worcester’s Victorian Christmas Fayre, one of the city’s biggest weekends of the year.
With craft makers from Worcestershire and beyond setting up stalls, the fair is a great spot for a bit of festive shopping.
Visitors will be able to find a range of jewellery, woodwork, homeware, textiles, metalwork, painting, and prints.
Artisan foods will also be available for those looking for a treat or a present.
The fair will be held inside the art gallery and museum, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the museum’s exhibits, while enjoying a coffee or mulled wine at Little Al’s at the Balcony café.
Tracey Ayre, events officer at the art gallery and museum, said: “It’s great to be open alongside the Victorian Christmas Fayre again this year – it brings a brilliant festive atmosphere to our Makers’ Fair.
“You’ll see some of the Art Gallery and Museum staff in costume too, with the perfect backdrop of the beautiful Victorian building.”
The art gallery and museum’s shop will also have locally made jewellery, art-inspired books and gifts, and a selection of Christmas cards to purchase.
Complementing the Makers’ Fair experience, visitors can delve into fantasy art in the exhibition ‘Designing Terry Pratchett’s Discworld: 30 Years of Paul Kidby’s Illustration.’
Tickets for this can be purchased via the museums Worcestershire website or on the day from the museum shop.
The fair is on from 10am to 6pm on both days and is free to attend.
