Economist Petra Flachová, the new director, used to work for IBM. She was a yoga instructor, according to the Sme daily. She lives in the Austrian town of Kittsee – like the culture minister herself – just a stone’s throw from the Slovak capital. Flachová and Šimkovičová (SNS nom.) should be neighbours, the daily notes.

The two are also friends on Facebook.

In addition, Flachová has shared disinformation posts on her social media, including videos from the pro-Russian and misinformation Facebook channel TV Slovan, which has been renamed “Martina a Peter”. The minister is one of the stars of this channel.
