On April 24th, 2024, Homestead High School hosted the Spring Arts Gallery and NHS Coffee House in order to raise money for the Art Department. There were over 20 live performances, and people were free to peruse the art displays hung up throughout the beautiful new section of the building.
Homestead’s National Honor Society hosted a table where people could purchase snacks and made-to-order beverages. Near the new art classrooms, there was another table to be able to buy hand-made artwork. And, you could insert for four quarters to win sticker, photograph, or print from the new Spart-o-matic. All of the proceeds from these went to the Fine Arts program at Homestead!
Owen Vanderweele (10) took these wonderful photos of art featured and performances while in attendance. The Gallery spanned a long hallway, with the stage for performers as the center hub beside the snack table.
