The Urban Art Store in Wymondham up for regional award

January 21, 20251 Min Read

The Urban Art Store was nominated for the ‘Best Small New Business’ at the East Anglia Business Awards 2025.

Since opening in Norwich Road Wymondham in October 2023, it has become a popular spot for street art fans, offering pieces from famous names like Banksy and Hirst as well as local artists.

The nomination shines a light on the store’s hard work in helping new artists and boosting the region’s urban culture.

Lee Webster, founder of the store said: “We’re honoured to be recognised for our hard work and dedication to the art community.

“There were more than 700 nominations and being shortlisted reflects the love and support we’ve received from our customers and artists alike.”

The winners will be chosen based on a mix of public votes and a video explaining their business, with the prize announced at the East Anglia Business Awards ceremony on March 8.

Readers can vote by visiting the ‘East of England Voting’ page on the Small Business Awards website.
