What’s in Tehran art galleries

* Photos by Maryam Zandi are on view in an exhibition at Dena Gallery. 
The exhibition runs until May 10 at the gallery located at 4 Sussan Alley off Qarani St.

Painting 

* Guyeh Gallery is playing host to an exhibition of paintings by a group of artists including Behdad Najafi, Behnam Bakhshi, Farnaz Ferdowsian, Zahra Azizi, Sepideh Morshedi and Zohreh Solati.  

The exhibit will continue until May 2 at the gallery that can be found at No. 39, Lotfi Alley, Mashahir St., near Haft-e Tir Square.

* Tehran-based Hungarian artist Gizella Varga Sinai is showcasing her latest paintings in an exhibition at Vista Gallery.

Entitled “Hafez Divination”, the exhibition will run until May 13 at the gallery located at No. 11, 12th Alley, Mir Emad St.

* A collection of paintings by Habib Alian is currently on display in an exhibit at Binesh Gallery.

Named “Green Window”, the exhibition runs until May 6 at the gallery located at 22 Khakzad Alley, Vali-e Asr Ave.

* An exhibition of paintings by Elnaz Abbasi is underway at Ebteda Gallery.

Entitled “Homeland”, the exhibition will run until April 3 at the gallery located at 35 Farrokhi Alley, near Vali-e Asr Square.

* An exhibition of paintings by Mina Hassani is currently underway at Sharif Gallery.

Titled “Perhaps It Was Me”, the exhibit will be running until May 10 at the gallery that can be found at 11 Mahruzadeh Alley, Shariati Ave. near Quds Square.

* Hoor Gallery is currently playing host to an exhibition of paintings by Nosratollah Moslemian. 

The exhibition will be running until May 17 at the gallery located at 12 Naeimi Alley, North Mirza Shirazi St., off Motahhari Ave.

* An exhibition of paintings by Akbar Rafiei is currently underway at Afrand Gallery. 

The exhibition named “Deserted Quarter” will continue until May 10 at the gallery located at 48 Jalal Hosseini St., Jahan Ara St., off Jalal Ale-Ahmad Highway.

* Javid Gallery is hosting an exhibition of paintings by Maqsud Teimouri. 

The exhibition runs until May 6 at the gallery that can be found at 17 Zartosht St., Vali-e Asr Ave.

Calligraphic painting

* A collection of calligraphic paintings by Soleiman Miri is on display in an exhibit at Haft Samar Gallery.

The exhibition will run until May 3 at the gallery located at No. 8, Fifth Alley, Kuh-e Nur St., Motahhari Ave.
