More than £200,000 has been awarded to a museum in Worcestershire by Arts Council England (Ace).
In total, £239,922 is to go to Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, which is operated by Museums Worcestershire (MW).
Museums Worcestershire’s head of museums, Philippa Tinsley, said the money would “increase the resilience” of Worcester’s museums.
Liz Johnson, Midlands area director at Ace, which delivered the grant from its Museum Renewal Fund, said: “The funding will allow them to improve spaces in their Victorian building and open up opportunities for new displays and income generation.”
