Alternative Airlines, an online travel agency based in the United Kingdom, has on Thursday announced its partnership with Triple-A, a licensed digital currency provider based in Singapore, to expand cryptocurrency options.
This collaboration allows customers to book flights using over 100 different cryptocurrency options at Alternative Airlines, including popular currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, and Binance Pay, the duo said in a statement.
According to the statement, this partnership leverages Triple-A’s technology to deliver a seamless, secure, and efficient payment experience for crypto users booking through Alternative Airlines.
It is noted that digital currency payments offer lower transaction fees than traditional methods, a locked-in exchange rate with no volatility risk, and instant confirmation, providing additional customer advantages.
For merchants, digital currencies also remove the risk of chargebacks, providing greater financial certainty and reducing potential disputes.

The firm is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and used by over 20,000 businesses.
It is is also licensed in the EU by Banque de France and is registered with the United States Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN).
Alternative Airlines is a flight search and booking website.
