Unitas Wholesale has appointed Nick Shaw as its finance director.
Shaw will join MD John Kinney, trading director Cheryl Hope, and new retail director Victoria Lockie, who joined Unitas from Nisa last month, on the buying group’s executive team.
As the new finance director, he will oversee key aspects of the Unitas ‘fitter, faster, fairer’ strategy including the integration of a new finance portal and central invoicing system to speed up payment processes for members.
Shaw has over 20 years’ finance experience, having held senior finance and strategic management roles at major consumer goods manufacturers including Morphy Richards and Roberts Radio.
“We are very pleased to be able to bring Nick’s experience and expertise into our central support team,” said Unitas Wholesale MD John Kinney.
“He brings a new perspective to the role and, along with Vicky, he will be a huge asset in our journey towards a fitter, faster, fairer service for members and suppliers.”
