What is your firm’s investment proposition and how did you come up with it?
When building our proposition we segment our clients in groups pertaining to stage of life, attitude to risk as well as other factors which means we don’t recommend all clients the same solution. However, we use various model portfolio services offered by third party discretionary providers, as well as multi-asset funds which have a good track record and meet our stringent due diligence.
If necessary, we can also create bespoke portfolios for clients who have complex needs such as different tax wrappers, or for those who have certain investment preferences. But in most cases, a model portfolio is most efficient. We also have a small number of risk-rated advisory portfolios, but again, we prefer to use specialist providers while we focus on the financial planning.
