The Multicultural Investor (MCI) and Athlete and Entertainer (A&E) Client Segments hosted this exclusive event at Art Basel Miami Beach in December 2021. Renowned curators and artists gathered at the innovative and electric Sushi Fly Chicken for insightful, candid conversations focused on how to navigate the art ecosystem and build relationships with artists, while building an art collection.

The reception featured a panel discussion with renowned curator and co-founder of Artnoir, Larry Ossei-Mensah, contemporary artist Xaviera Simmons and multidisciplinary artist Susan Lee-Chun.

Larry Ossei-Mensah is the co-founder of Artnoir, as well as a Ghanaian-American curator and cultural critic who has organized exhibitions and programs at commercial and nonprofit spaces around the globe. He uses contemporary art as a vehicle to redefine how we see ourselves and the world around us.

Xaviera Simmons is an American contemporary artist working in photography, performance, painting, video, sound art, sculpture and installation. She has been a visiting professor and lecturer at Harvard University, where she is also a Solomon Fellow.

Susan Lee-Chun is a multidisciplinary artist who has exhibited and performed widely in the US and abroad. She has also held residencies at the Bemis Center in Omaha, NE and Threewalls in Chicago, IL. She is represented by the David Castillo Gallery in Miami, FL.

Attendees included members of the UBS community, art enthusiasts, as well as influencers.
